I just watched it on Netflix and I have to say it was pretty good. Nora is such a good actress but what I loved about this is that fairy tales so come true if you believe. I wonder if they will come out with troll 2, the reason why is that it was a cliffhanger. Like now I'm wondering, will Nora take your father foot steps and find embrace the magic. I hope they make a second one to it.

Medioce movie all in all. Great special effects, great locations, I like the overall mood and cinematography. However, the movie is to short, characters are introduced in a bad way, so I don't really care about them. Can't even remember the names. This flick is also full of plot holes and sterotypes e.g. "normal weapons don't work, lets test our super secret brand new wonder rocket our government knows nothing about and destroy our capitol with it".

A dumb film that tries so hard to be the Norwegian equivalent of 'Godzilla.' The humor is so bad it looks like a 2000's movie. The Roar Uthaugh that shined with 'The Wave' is gone; now he's becoming the new Uwe Boll.

The worst thing you can say about the new Roar Uthaug (“The Wave,” “Tomb Raider”) thriller Troll is that “It’s no ‘Trollhunter.'” It lacks the wit and the mismatch peril of André Øvredal’s classic rock-bodied creature feature of 2010. So “dumb,” sure. “Fun?” Not so much.

Another outlet for pagan religious hatred with the backdrop of the same modernist **** that can be read all over social media. where the human is the bad guy and the gigantic catholic-eating troll is actually nice in a world full of bad humans. the only satisfying passage is when the hateful father gets killed by the creature he spends half the film worshiping. after such an outpouring of **** one will wonder why netflix continues to lose the customers they spend their life insulting them.
