A quite underrated Hitchcock film. Since this one was always considered minor Hitchcock, I hadn't seen it since I was a kid. Well, let me tell you, I watched it again and it's quite good. Newman and Andrews are stellar, the suspense is almost unbearable at times and you've got that spectacularly extended murder scene. If you've always given it a pass, give it a chance. It's no Rear Window, but it's pretty darn good.

good & suspenseful & intense about the dangers of spying & being a double agent... many mini-twists by Alfred Hitchcock who did a fantastic job... a fave Paul Newman & Julie Andrews were fantastic together...

One of the less popular Hitchcock pictures where Paul Newman and Julie Andrews star. Newman and Andrews were two actors who Hitchcock apparently didn't original want. I felt that it ended up working well with the two. Hollywood stars, traitors, spies, bombs, suspense, murder, and communists. All you could ask for in a classic thriller!

Another great Hitchcock spy movie. It reminds me a little of Notorious. Great.
