Time Bandits (1981)

Young history buff Kevin can scarcely believe it when six dwarfs emerge from his closet one night. Former employees of the Supreme Being, they've purloined a map charting all of the holes in the fabric of time and are using it to steal treasures from different historical eras. Taking Kevin with them, they variously drop in on Napoleon, Robin Hood and King Agamemnon before the Supreme Being catches up with them.

Mr. Gilliam what can I say I have never seen a movie I did not like. This one in particular I think it's the wonderful ensemble cast.

Oh, this is brilliant. An entire star is awarded for the ending, which is the best and awesomeist ending I have ever seen on a movie. American's would never end a kid's movie like that. But I think all movies should end like that. Also..John Cleese makes an excellent Robin Hood.

One of the great 'out there' movies by Monty Python Alumnus Terry Gilliam. Takes the audience to places vastly beyond everyday experience, yet at the same time, strangely familiear.
