A pretty good slasher film. Many gruesome scenes which is one of the requirements for films of this genre. Of course the acting sucked.....but that is also a requirement for films of this genre. I recommend!

Et turtelduende par er paa fjelltur i Appalachene. Et fatalt veivalg sender dem rett i armene paa den noe mindre gjestfrie utgaven av lokalbefolkningen. Joda, dette har vi sett mange ganger i tidligere filmer - ikke minst i Wrong Turn og i en Toobe Hooper film fra 1974. Men her er hovedkarakterene uutholdelig grunne - og gjor saa mange ukloke og dumme valg at all sympati for deres skjebne forsvinner fort. Ikke blir det ordentlig stygt og ekkelt heller - er det for aa gi filmen lavere aldersgrense mon tro? Dette er Backwood Brutality light, og det blir for tamt for en veteran. Logiske brister og et plot som ikke holder helt i hop trekker ytterligere ned. Noen scener og styggtryner er fine dog, og kristenfolk er jo alltid troverdige bad-guys. Likefullt er dette litt skuffende.
