I cant believe this was from George lucas. He shot it in a very unique way. Its visually stunning and holds up well to todays standards. Its not for everyone but its a very well done film thats very complex. This shows that George Lucas used to be good. I guess he just stopped caring or ran completly out of ideas. It could be a little of both.

The story of a society run by the government so much that they are literally stripped of being human. They just work and pray to a fake picture of Jesus who tells them to go and buy stuff. It's really awesome. If your into sci-fi you must see this. Also see Equalibrium.

Get the DVD on netflix, or whatever, and watch the special feature with the sound guy. They did some especially wacky electronic sound stuff for the movie. The moral of the movie: even if you are bald and under constant surveillance and the threat of electric shock, things will probably work out.
