It might be more effective with a hint of subtlety and a premise that isn't so flimsy and formulaic.

Thunderstruck was not bad. Think Eddie meets Just My Luck. Started off slow bit got better in the second act. Went a little downhill in the third act, but not to the point where it was terrible. I could see buying the blu-ray if I needed one blu-ray for a five for twenty dollars or get one free kind of sale. My grade: B

This is my three year old's son favorite movie. It was good for kids and I thought Kevin and his mom did great.
