Devastating. All human connections which we consider fundamental are lost. Even those between mother and daughter. Survival is the only meaning, food is the only desire.

It's the most disturbing film I have ever seen!, it will give you all nightmares forever!! So depressing and dark.This is something that we all should learn from this film.

Realistically depressing and unusually watchable 80's docu-drama. 100% disturbing or your money back!. Not exactly a big-budget epic, but horrifically true to earth. Very grim. Few, if any visual punches pulled. Should be mandatory enforced viewing for all school leavers. Watch this in daylight. You wont sleep afterwards if you watch it at night. Dont watchi this in company. Have to agree that it makes watching any of the Hollywood extinction epics films look like Camberwick green.

Stark. Disturbing. Horrific. Threads is like The Proffessionals after a nuclear war. Its the kind of film that stays with you for a very, very long time and make you wish if there were a nuclear war that you were right a ground zero when it went off - rather than be around after the bombs had dropped.
