HBO produces some excellent documentaries.

Sadly, there were no real answers forthcoming from this documentary. At least not any that Diane's family wanted to hear. Such a horrific, sad story. At several points throughout, I was crying and honestly wanted to turn it off but I had to know. What would cause this woman to drink so much and apparently smoke pot as well, apparently while driving? This was clearly out of character for her based on the word of everyone that knew her. Then I thought the toxicology results must be a mistake. Her family was so convinced she could not possibly have done this that I found myself questioning the science. Right up until the credits rolled, I so wanted concrete answers for this family. Answers they could live with. I just don't believe they will ever get them. This tragic mystery will never be solved.

Even though it ends where it begins, it shows how grey something can be in circumstances that seem so absolute on the news. It always nice to have another side to a story.

Such a sad, sad story....and a well done film.....this poor family has spent two years searching for answers, and I pray to God that one day they will find peace. I remember seeing this on CNN and reading about it in People shortly after it happened. Then nothing. This may sound native, but I do not believe she was drunk or high when driving with those children. The THC could have been from a any time before that that she smoked, as we all know, that stays in you bloodstream forever...I think there was something wrong with the other reports, perhaps the state should help and get her body for more tests....the last part of this documentary was VERY upsetting, watching grown men that witnessed and helped was VERY emotional, and they actually showed a few photos of Diane's body, I could have done without that.....but all in all, very interesting and emotional...

Very sad documentary! It sucks that we will ever know what truly happened.
