There’s something wrong with the children, all right. The filmmakers can’t figure out what to do with them.

There's Something Wrong With The Children is an energetic but expected kiddies-gone-killer tale that wades into some murky waters.

Marco Vito Oddo 19 Jan 2023

There's Something Wrong With the Children is fine as it is for a casual watch, but it’s painful to watch such a talented cast trying to salvage a bland horror film that had so much potential to be unforgettable.

Anybody could direct this kind of story, and many already have. But There’s Something Wrong with the Children is right in Benjamin’s wheelhouse, and her skill with this familiar set-up is a major boon.

Trailer made it seem it had potential, but it was a overly drawn out disappointment. The tension that they try create, is overshadowed by predictability and/or stupidity of the characters. The music did not pace well. Acting was terrible and generic.
