Highly recommend if you like drama and analysis of human behavior. Over-arching theme is betrayal and how to move past it to still have faith and love.

Helen Hunt did a marvelous job directing and starring in this movie. I thought it was great that she didn't wear any make-up to make her character look more vulnerable. Colin Firth & Bette Midler were both phenomenal in this movie, although Matthew Broderick's character seemed awkward & out of place.

Good chick flick and I even cried. Don't recommend it to the boys, but it could be a lesson on how to be a sensitive man (hello, Colin Firth!!!) and how to avoid being a jackass (bad Matthew Broderick!). Plus, Bette Midler is always fun!

While the direction and character development were not as sharp as they could have been; the performances were stunning by all from start to finish. It is really the story that sells this movie and it is a story you enjoy buying, and by the end it is a purchase you treasure.
