This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The characters are so rich and full, so moving and honest, so fresh and interesting, and they're suprising--I mean, totally unpredictable, and that's a pretty difficult task in today's movie world, I think. BRAVO to Helent Hunt for working so diligently to get this movie made and with so little money! What a incredible accomplishment for her to have produced, directed, and starred in such an beautiful film.

WOW!!! I LOVED this movie. Very smartly done. Not finely polished and sanitized like so many other hollywood "love stories" - no wonder the average public didn't embrace it. A very real slice of the desperate life of an average middle-age woman looking to complete herself through the birth of her own child.

I so super loved this flick!!! I thought it was simply marvellous!!! very real...love ain't pretty....loved the theme of having to make peace with betrayal to really love...beautiful movie indeed...can't belive Hunt had a role in writing, directed and starred in it...my new hero!! and Firth....he is just always hawt to me....lol ~G~

AMAZING MOVIE!!! So funny and touching...watch this if you are adopted! It was so great to watch a story you can relate to!
