A beautiful movie about how a little boy spent 1970 World-Cup Football time without his parents. Political turmoil seperated him from his father and exiled him from his homeland.

As a portrait of a community caught in the grip of World Cup fever, it's convincing. As a bildungsroman of sorts a bit conventional. As a juxtaposition of these two elements it's completely fascinating and the reason why I watch foreign films.
