This droll coming-of-age story, set in the turbulent year of 1970, astutely captures the resilience of the human spirit.

A great movie. Dictatorship, soccer, the mix of diff cultures, and the kid's expectations. this was 1970. awesome.

Such a good movie. Did a good job of capturing a specific time in Brazil. Great camera work. Sad and funny at times.

Nice, well told and really beautiful photography in this movie about 12 year old Mauro who is left alone with unknown jews whem his parents have to flee for political reasons.
