Here's a little movie that came and went without anyone noticing, that really deserves to be enjoyed by people. The movie manages to combine humor and the darker, more lonely tribulations of life into a legitimately moving and heart warming story. It's been done before but rarely with such efficacy.

I'm not a fan of this film. It felt way too cliche and too cookie-cutter. Sam Rockwell at times was funny but more then others he felt flat. The story is a rather simple feel-good movie however it seems to lack heart, substance and a middle. I found myself not really caring about the characters. The film felt rushed and everything came together wrapped in a nice bow. I will say the young actresses really felt like they were high schoolers. They were funny and far from annoying. Not Sam Rockwell's finest moment but if you're looking for a simple feel-good movie, you'll find it here.

A welcome surprise...Rockwell gives a performance that's always funny, never sentimental...this one is worth finding.
