The Ticket abandons the potentially complex web of drama it initially sets up and moves toward a limp, shallow critique of superficiality itself.

Amirah Mercer 03 Apr 2017

The Ticket asks the right questions, but in keeping the cast's supporting characters out of focus, it forgot to show us the bigger picture.

Andy Crump 05 Apr 2017

It's enough to sustain The Ticket as entertainment, but not enough to whitewash its various shortcomings as a statement piece about America's obsession with shallowness.

Cary Darling 05 Apr 2017

A slow-moving but haunting life lesson anchored by an exceptional performance from Dan Stevens of "Beauty and the Beast" and "Downton Abbey."

Sheri Linden 05 Apr 2017

Directed by Ido Fluk from a screenplay he wrote with Sharon Mashihi, the film is sensitively observed, its performances convincingly understated. But it rapidly devolves into a standard, and increasingly unfocused, story of materialism and greed.
