Joanne did a excellant job with the role, I'm not sure anybody could have done it better.

A portrayal of one of the earliest and most famous cases of Dissociative Identity Disorder, then called Multiple Personality. I'm not sure how much of this film is fabricated, mostly the ending, but I thought it did a wonderful job of portraying the rather tragic life of a woman with a sickness many thought was utter nonsense. I've seen footage of the actual 'Eve White' and Woodward did a phenomenal job in portraying all three sides of her. Lovely bit of drama and abnormal psych!

Given an improbable and silly script, Woodward's performance is very good. Its depiction of mental illness is wildly out-of-tune, but the first DSM had just been published a only a few years earlier in 1952...

This was so good. Its crazy how this actress is able to change the light in her eyes. Wonderful acting. Just wonderful.
