Saw this movie in my YouTube Red feed and decided to watch it on a whim. I had neither heard nor seen any promotion for the film prior to watching it. So I was just thinking; 'Oh, its going to be another cliche movie, I'll watch the first fifteen minutes while I wait for dinner to finish.' I was really really happy to discover that the movie was interesting! Yes it had a few cliche scenes, but the plot is unique, the story is well told, and the acting is actually pretty good. I was happily held in suspense of the eventual outcome. It is a 'suspense' movie that actually does it's job in that respect. It really helps that so many real world situations are incorporated into the seams of this film. The dystopian aspects are believable. All in all, this is a great movie and I really enjoyed it. I RECOMMEND watching. (I most certainly ekll again.)

I thought It was a good movie in terms of entertainment but it does have it's problems

I thought it was a fun/entertaining movie. I went into it out of boredom with no real expectations so... I think it's better than hunger games (though Jennifer Lawrence is a really good actor), the series is just awful. I think Stacy Dash did a decent job with the crying and the shaking and the slickness (and the hotness) - she was the only actor who peaked some emotions - not that the young actors weren't good, they were okay, I'm sure their acting will get better as their careers progress (unlike Twilight girl)

Great concept. Could have been better thouigh but still enjoyed it though for a low budget movie.

The plot idea had so much promise, but from the start they failed to sell us on the idea or make us believe a "Thinning" was necessary. The character development was meek, the plot was bleak and the script was weak. Found myself feeling bored and angry because they could have made a great film and instead it was just crap.
