The Stooge (1951)

Bill Miller is an unsuccessful Broadway performer until his handlers convince him to enhance his act with a stooge—Ted Rogers, a guy positioned in the audience to be the butt of Bill's jokes. After Ted begins to steal the show, Bill's girlfriend and his pals advise him to make Ted an equal partner.

It is a funny movie. To bad they broke up the act... They were the best comedy duo.

Feels a little like the real mccoy for the two actors. Still, perhaps the epitome of the duo's works.

Possibly the best Martin-Lewis film given some of the parallels with their true story together.

One of Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis' best films, but for me that is not saying much. I have never been much of a fan of the duo, but this film has it's good moments. Some good songs as well. Jerry Lewis sure can get irritating though.
