long trop long...religion, condition des femmes, amours, mariage forces... et l'eau.

Un sujet tel que celui-ci aurait certainement mérité une meilleure mise en scène et un meilleur montage (c'est monté à la va-comme-j'te-pousse). C'est brouillon.

The director of "Le Concert", Radu Mihaileanu treated a pretty touchy subject this time on muslims and their macho culture. There are, men of younger generation who want to support their wives, thank "God"! Some elderly people show their wisdom & intelligence to see the logic, humanity & practicality over tradition & religiosity which has nothing to do with faith, after all. Based on the real story, love should win over extremists' invasion & out dated male pride. Yet the way to victory is not that simple....

The writer clearly sees the nuance of human emotion too subtle for the other "critics" on this page to appreciate. This film clearly conveys a message about several forms of cognitive bias, rarely portrayed in modern film. Women exist separately and are not the slaves to men. Not enough of this message to people. It is important to penetrate the collective psyche with this message. Well done.
