It's 1981 and the girls of Alpha Gamma Theta sorority are having a party. As the new pledges arrive, so does an uninvited guest. Little do the sisters know someone is watching them in the shadows. As the girls shower, study, eat and sleep the stalker studies the girls. One by one he finds the girls at their most vulnerable and murders them. The police hunt for the missing girls and their killer, but will they find them in time? Or will the girls be forced to fight for their lives..

In the vein of Rob Zombie's first two film's and Ti West's House of the Devil, The Sleeper is a thoroughly authentic montage to Golden Age slasher films that works on every level. From the bad cinematography to the humor to the unrelenting brutality, The Sleeper will delight any slasher film who has seen everything from the 80s and wishes there was more...

A fun throwback slasher made with love and care by someone who obviously knows the genre. Great cameo by Joe Bob Briggs too.

A superb low budget homage to sorority based slashers of the early 80s. With authentic looking degraded looking film stock, a great score, plus a creepy killer and a wintry campus/sorority house setting, every genre trope and convention is superbly consructed.
