A scrappy war flick with a fair amount of combat suspense but a whole lot of clichéd dialogue.

Wasn't expecting much but it was a great show. Made me go look up the battle which was fairly accurately portrayed by this film. Netflix just proved they have some movie making chops in my book!

Very good movie. I would really like to see more movies based on true stories that don't try to force a political spin on us or degrade religion.

Though based on real-life events, it is not a documentary and license was taken. You're left in no doubt who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. French viewers might not be that enamoured but there you go. This is at heart a heroic war movie, Sansom versus Goliath and seen in that light it's great. Jaime Dornan is excellent as Quinlan, the best performance I've seen of him. Great show.
