Classy as hell, the ultimate in Western. Salvatore is portrayed as the ultimate in coolness, the machiasmo if I'm not wrong.

Could have been a great movie until they got Christopher Lambert to act and Michael Cimino to direct. Real good supporting cast, though.

the book is pretty good (no godfather or omerta) but the film isnt great! christopher lambert is just mis-cast really, its long and slow and quite hard to get through as its quite boring. i liked it the 1st time i watched it as it is an interesting story.....

This could be a good mafia movie, but the actors and actuatios are so poor (except John Turturro) that makes this movie a crap.

big fan of the book, like the godfather. I enjoyed this. Lambert always impresses.
