Just a mess of a movie that wanted to be the next Godfather and had the potential, but failed miserably.

One of this film's big problems is that you can hardly see it. The foregrounds are dark and indistinct. The backgrounds are overlit and washed-out.

"so die all who betray Giuliano", " I trust no one but aspanu", "only a Friend would betray a friend"..so much of good lines in a very bad make of a movie. This was suppose to be in the Michael Corleone wilderness years in Sicily. it should have been better after watching again these years.

Having read the crappy reviews that greeted this movie when it was first released I approached it with caution but found I quite liked this tale.
