look out for a brief appearance of orson wells in this underrated movie

probably the most accurate story of his life. most movies add many unknown theories. this one holds true to known facts.

The subject matter is far more important than this particular film about it.

Overly reverential and staid, this does happen to also be largely correct. In this instance, it is using biopic techniques to demonize T.A. Edison somewhat and elevate Tesla almost by default. Above mortal concerns, he has Strother Martin playing Westinghouse struggling to produce some sense of narrative conflict while in scenes with the impassive Bozovic as Tesla. Welles is largely up to his usual, lending pompous import and historical frame, but he does so with excellence. It is still very much worth seeing for Tesla fans, as the use of typical means to more interesting ends is enjoyable.

Not the best movie...it's age is very apparent...but Nikola Tesla has always fascinated me so I did enjoy it. Plus it has Orson Welles in it!
