This movie was amazing. I watched it in my own home on my nice 1080p rear projection tv. I watched it using Movies on Demand, but they didn't have in HD. No big deal. It still looked amazing. Sounds were scary awesome sounding. The subtitles didn't bother me at all. I glanced at them and could still enjoy the brilliant camera work and action sequences. Great acting. All the characters had different personalities, and the actors portrayed them magnificently. This is a perfect movie in my opinion. The duration is a bit lengthy, but it does a great job of keeping you tuned in. I highly recommend you watch this movie.

Probably John Woo's strongest film. John Woo takes the events from the legendary Three Kingdoms period in acient china, told in the title of "Battle of Red Cliffs". Superb cinematrography and amazing battle sequences. This is the kind of movie that films like "Troy" should have been.
