This is a movie everyone should see. Aside from it being absolutely beautifully shot, I could not find flaws in the midst of all the emotion and action pouring from the screen.

Such a powerful movie. Everyone should be forced to view this story of Turkey's genocide of the Armenians, not to mention of the Greeks and Assyrians as well.

This is a magnificent, beautifully filmed, and sensitive portrayal of the events leading to the horrific near extermination of the Armenian people by an ultra nationalistic Turkish movement under the umbrella of the 1st world war. It truly articulates the all to familiar steps taken (later in the century toward the (European Jews) to degrade and humiliate an entire race. The acting is poignant and the cinematography is stunning. It's a MUST SEE!

This film was beautiful. It was a love story that takes place during the Armenian genocide. The Armenian genocide took place in 1915 as the Ottoman Empire (turkey) attempted to wipe out Armenia as a whole (its neighboring country) . During this hard time, mikael (main character) falls in love while he is faced with personal losses , war, all while attempting to survive with hopes of eventually being with the woman he loves. Well done!

This was a fantastic and important telling of the Armenian genocide, framed in a love story.
