It would've been nice to explain that the Armenians started killing Turks much earlier. The Armenians had fought alongside the Russians in 1821 and in 1871 during the Russo Turco war, they were so brutal, the Russians were in awe. 3 million Turks killed and cleansed out of the Caucasus to make way for Armenia.

I thought the acting was well done and had a generally good plot. Of course it includes a white woman causing all sorts of situations, resulting in her lover getting killed. But they did a good job.

touching movie with authentic atmosphere. not focusing the history, not trying to make propaganda. just telling the naive love story and history is only background. It is not about agony of armenian. so it does not have to tell the issue or give detail.
