This film really is rubbish, again though it starts to fall into the category of its so bad it is worth a look. Some of the scenes in it are unbelievable (you would not get away with those freak scenes today!)! And looks like its been made on a budget of Â£20! One of the plus points of this film is to see Tom Baker in his pre-Doctor Who days as a mad freak with a bad haircut! The cake destroying scene is so funny, I would try and explain the plot, but I havenâ??t really got a clue what its about! Donald Pleasance would have been better leaving this one off his CV!

This is Old School Drive-Inn Friday Night Horror, so-so for Halloween, Not sure it would do much for anyone under 25. To slow. But now those born in the Sixties might work for ya.

i hated this movie. A mad scientist whose plans to make a half human half plant go terribly wrong and end up causing his own death. So many great movies came out in 1974, this has got to be one of the worst. First of all, its not scary in the slightest, the mad scientist is not evil enough, the "Freaks" are not freaky enough, the whole thing was so lame, its sort of a PG horror movie for children. 1000 Curses!!!

The freaks in the fair are actually kind of fun and are probably professionals I'm guessing, but Donald Pleasance is uncharacteristically wooden unfortunately, and I have no idea why he has the dodgiest accent in the world!! Mildly entertaining...

The Mutations is an oddity of a film really, from sideshow curiosity to mad scientist horror to 70's sleaze it never quite decides what it wants to be & suffers because of it but there's enough to keep you from being bored & I liked it overall even if it could have been even better.
