One of my all time favourite movies ever! This movie is a mix of the Goonies and the old school monster movies of the 60s and 70s... The acting was great and the direction by Fred Dekker was outstanding..

I give this movie 5 stars, not because it's good, but because I was addicted to it when I was little. This was my favorite movie when I was growing up. I'd watch it over and over again. I'm glad to see that this cult-classic made it to DVD. It's worth watching. Even though it's pretty retarded now, this movie was the shit, when I was young. I always wanted to be in THE MONSTER SQUAD!
