This film has a nice cool feel to it, yet for some reason the video store I worked in at the time only got 2 copies in.

Point 1: By setting it in the nineties, you lose the point of calling them The _Mod_ Squad. Mod is, by then, a long-obsolete term. Point 2: This movie mocks itself by pointing out how cliche-ridden the script is, yet it's not a parody movie like, say, National Lampoon's Loaded Weapon. It's just bad. At least Giovanni Ribisi is a somewhat interesting character in the movie. The rest of this is pretty forgettable.

Saw it a long time ago. I remember it being good, but again I barely remember it so it must be a 3 star.

This is the kind of movie that isn't even worth renting when it comes out on video because, with the possible exception of Michael Lerner and Omar Epps dancing to show tunes, you've seen it all before.
