Considering all the crap that stars a set of veneers that some how falls in love with another set of veneers under whacky circumstances this is about the best thing that I have seen mainstream wise in years.

From the director of the zombie/samurai classic Versus, The Midnight Meat Train is a stylishly brutal little horror film based upon a story by Clive Barker. Featuring ample character development and psyhological as well as physical horror, Kitamura's film is a twisted little jaunt that blends the paranoid with the body horror genres in a way that is simultaneously disturbing and delightful. Having seen The Hangover, it's entertaining to see Bradley Cooper in such a visceral role. The Midnight Meat Train may seem slow and disappointing during the first half but its second half and ending pack a horror whallop that you will not soon forget.

This movie has an riveting power that other movies of today dont hold up for the last 10 minuets. Very beautiful movie and definitely deserves to be on ones shelf.

Struggling photographer Leon Kauffman's obsessive pursuit of dark subject matter leads him into the path of a serial killer, Mahogany, the subway murderer who stalks late-night commuters -- ultimately butchering them in the most gruesome ways imaginable. I have no Idea how I missed this freaking awesome film #1. Brooke Shields #2. A creative and energetic adaptation of a Clive Barker short story. #3. Gruesome #4. Grisly #5. Bloody . #6. Vinnie Jones as the 'maniac' . I Frigging dig this gore feast of a film that gets darker and darker as the story arc progresses . It's excessively and imaginatively gory. So thoroughly coated in over-the-top blood and guts that even veteran genre fans will likely be astounded. Except most thread members of ; AVS October fun: 31 days of Horror, Blood, Guts and Gore! (and zombies, too....) . Directed By: Ryuhei Kitamura and screen play by Jeff Buhler - Producer Clive Barker . The synergy of these men produced one hell of a bloody psycho thriller that is amazingly realistic and alarming. Great film .
