This movie was hostile! Off the hook. My wife screamed and threw her popcorn all over the place...expensive... The effects in this movie are absolutely STARTLING. I saw it twice.

very good film when i eventually watched it, the first time i only got about half hour into it and i switched it off as i was too chicken to watch it but i plucked my couage up and watched it in broad daylight hiding behind a cushion

If u took the Grudge and The Others and combined them with a pinch of The Birds u would get The Messengers. This movie was great from start to finish. My advice is just buy the fucking movie!
