Incredible war movie.... essential viewing!

Fantastic. I didnt know what to expect. There was a huge uproar surrounding this movie, especially as it dealt with Iraq torture whilst British soldiers were in capture of Iraq militants. From a political stand point, Mark of Cain is a very risky project. From a commercial stand point, Mark is also risky, but has an important message and pulls no punches. At times it is brutal and other times it is frail and vulnerable. The cast, a bunch of unknowns, are utterly convincing as the soldiers placed in a hot pot of vengaence and consequence. This movie needs due consideration.

Good movie that shows the uglier side of war. Not your typical combat movie with flag waving and heroes. Some might think it was antiwar or similar but I didn't get that vibe from the movie at all...just told things like they are (fictional story though but seemed plausible)

Not bad really, i appreciate the good casting choices. Not all guns blazin account, but looks at the torture of the iraqi prisoners, and the aftermath of it.
