Brilliant thriller that always keep you in intrigue with it's music and fantastic story-telling. The ending was completely surprising.

At first The Machinist seemed to be just another confusing thriller, but towards the end we are given an explanation to every question. The storyline is told from the perspective of Trevor Reznik, a factory worker who has not slept in over a year. Christian BaleÂ´s acting is simply outstanding, and his devotion is amazing. You keep guessing what is real and what is not, and the way it all gets tied together towards the end really makes The Machinist one of the greatest movies I have ever seen.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. The paranoia level in the movie and the tone is similar to a few other popular movies, the reveal at the end with the body dump and the final scene really blew me away. It's very gritty doesn't let you get comfortable. I found myself sincerely hoping that the lead character got out okay in the end, that never happens to me. Absolutely recommend it.

Great psychological thriller with a plot twist. It is shocking seeing Christian Bale weighing an emaciated 120 pounds, especially if you remember him as Batman or Patrick Bateman. Well worth a second viewing to catch a few clues you may have missed the first time.

Great acting.....great vibe.....great cinematography.....great plot if you're into tales of excessive guilt.....depressing if you're not......
