Despite me being a huge fan of Ane Rice's novels this is one of the best movies ever. Besides terrible performances from Tom Cruise as Lestat and some heavy problems with the adaption to the big screens as a vampire movie it deliver more than any other movie ever delivered.

I finally got around to watching this fan fave. Casting and acting was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the "Classic" take on vampirism. Special effects caught me off guard as they often did not show its age. But it was a tid-bit hoaky in some moments. Overall, best Vampire movie I've ever seen that is teeming with real emotion and ...non sparkly...romanticism of the cinematic staple that IS Vampire.

Sensational movie, outstanding drama, and breathtaking suspense show. By far one of the many greats of its time.

The best new vampire movie, based on the popular novel by Anne Rice. This movie has an all star cast, a big budget, and special effects, but it doesn't overdo it all. The story is beautiful and brilliant, and all vampire fans should see this movie.
