Story of how chess drives a man slowly to insanity. Good little movie in my opinion.

The movie is by far more than that... But, just knowing that a woman, not so jung, not sexy, turns into desirable, tells about a not common movie. Turturro's shows his acting virtues and Nabokov would only be critic of the end.

Love and obsession make beautiful music together in this romantic drama

interesting movie... that as a rarity for films about an actual topic... stays true to that topic that carries the plot. ..in this case chess. uses actual chess to move the story along.
