There isn’t a whiff of humility or self-deprecation to Clay, Roque, Jensen, Cougar, and Pooch, a collection of black-ops douchebags and our ostensible heroes.

I'm inclined to agree wtih Roger Ebert's review. The Losers is a fun movie, and even with the toned down nature of the adaptation, doesn't stray too far from the comic source material. It's an action movie that's not ALL EXPLOSIONS, ALL THE TIME! and it's funny without trying too hard, and it's very well acted at that. Is it horrible? Not at all. Is it Iron Man perfect-10 quality? Not really. Is it a fun weekend movie that you won't feel like you wasted $10 on? Most definately. I recommend it. On a side note, they're re-releasing double volumes of The Losers collected. If you're looking for something very dark, very violent, and very political, pick it up. It's one of my favorite series.

This movie was the most fun I've had at the movies for a long time. The characters were likable, the dialogue was clever and amusing and the action was intense and well done. A lot of the reviews I have read about this movie are punishing this movie for not being something it never promised to be. If you're looking for a great time at the movie theater I would recommend this movie to anyone, comic fan or not.

There are enough clever bits, in that exploding-bodies kind of way, to inject some fun into the party. White and director of photography Scott Kevan, who collaborated on "Stomp the Yard," have some seriously inventive visuals, which at times are smash-cut fabulous.

This movie is a lot of fun. I think it could have used an extra 15 minutes to explain a little more fully exactly what was going on, but even without it, you have a pretty clear idea of the plot. It's shot really well, the music is awesome, and it's PERFECTLY cast. Perfect. Anyway, I'd recommend it to anyone just looking for some awesome explosions and and a wealth of attractive menfolk.
