Asterix in Britain (1986)

One little ancient British village still holds out against the Roman invaders. Asterix and Obelix are invited to help. They must face fog, rain, warm beer and boiled boar with mint sauce, but they soon have Governor Encyclopaedius Britannicus's Romans declining and falling. Sooo hilarious! Why do little kids continue watching Disney crap while they could be watching the Asterix cartoons? I simply cannot understand.

It glorifies violence and misrepresents history but it's really funny. This is one of the best Asterix movies to date.

While it has some of the same talents as the much earlier Astérix et Cléopâtre, this effort seems less fun and more commercial. Nevertheless, it’s still an entertaining ﬁlm.
