it was a nice flick. loved the performances by the 2 young leads Skylan Brooks & Ethan Dizon, and the supporting cast of Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Jeffrey Wright & Anthony Mackie were all spot on.

So very good and moving! Real is another way that I would describe it! Jennifer Hudson's role as the junkie/prostitute mom was amazing. But Mister and Pete are the stars. SEE THIS MOVIE!!!!

Thought the relationship between Pete and Mister was beautiful. Occasionally sweet, mostly heart-wrenching. Emotionally, you feel the anger, sadness, and frustration of a young kid continually beat down by the world.
