I love that my favorite actor was in it (Anna Kendrick). I love the plot and the end.

You won't find any fairy tale endings in the world of "The Hollars." But sometimes a well-written movie with a talented ensemble cast that clicks is its own little miracle. The Hollars has that kind of magic.

Humorously written and tenderly performed, this yet another addition to the tired genre of dysfunctional family comedy is a welcome reminder that while we cannot choose our family, we can choose humour to be our therapist.
