Every man and woman should see this movie. I was so impressed with the creativity, sound track, and overall excellence of it. It is not lame, low budget, or a stereotypical Christian movie. It is raw, real, authentic and done really well. Christian or not - this movie lays it out there and does not sugar coat the reality of sexual shame and abuse. This movie is so important and I think it will help jump-start a very necessary process of healing for many people.

The great message & testimonies were drowned out by the absurdly over dramatic acting and story telling. The slow, intense music that continuously plays throughout the movie in the background made the movie feel it was dragging on. A few of the testimonies were also very rehearsed & overly dramatic, and for these reasons (and others) they did not resonate with me. I also think the main actor who played the Prodigal Son was simply unimpressive, uninspiring & not very good. He had the same look on his face whether he was happy, scared, sad etc. In summary, the filmakers tried too hard to be impactful & move audiences instead of letting the testimonies speak for themself.

Inspiring movie to all those that suffer with a porn addiction or to those who have been harmed as children. Hopeful and powerful!!! What a way to embrace us all as individuals and to say GOD loves us all no matter what, he always has and always will. Each time I see this movie I take away more and more, I walk away more humbled than I ever have before!!

An amazing theatrical release (now out on DVD) about the prodigal son. That son could be a representation of any man or woman in the depths of any kind of sin creating a feeling of separation & isolation from our loving Heavenly Father. Satan wants us to think God is cold, disgusted & displeased with us when in fact there is hope & love that comes from Him. Only God can redeem us from our deepest shame & guilt in life. He created us to enjoy & live happy & fulfilled lives alongside of Him. This movie depicts the relationship God desires to have with us as His children. The cinematography & story weave a beautiful picture of the journey you can have in Christ...happiness, hope & a future filled with purpose in our relationships. God is always calling us back to Himself no matter where we find ourselves in life. Take His hand...

Healing begins when the individual comes out from hiding and let's God and others into their life. This movie is the first in a long time in the "Christian" genre that uses powerful testimonies, actual writing, and beautiful cinematography to portray the Prodigal's story. It also is the beginning of a movement toward the Truth that God loves you more than you know regardless of what you've done. Just take the first step and watch this film.
