Deep throat is one of the dirtiest but cheapest but best films ever! A must-see

It was filmed in 6 days for 25 thousand dollars. The government didn't want you to see it. It was banned in 23 states. It has grossed over 600 million dollars. And it is the most profitable film in motion picture history.

This film coveres everything you'll ever need to know about the seminal porn film 'DEEP THROAT'. I really like the graphics used throughout this film - very well done whoever diid them. Amazingly it does actually feature uncensored hardcore footage from the original film. Proving you can get away with anything depending on the context in which you use it.

Fascinating, entertaining, and often humourous look at the film that made pornography mainstream and "respectable" for a period. The story is particularly engrossing for those of us who did love through the seventies and could never fathom an adult film being such a sensation. Though some of the facts feel like they've been stretched a bit (did it REALLY gross $600 million?), it's a nostalgic look back at a time when people could actually go to jail for showcasing the sexual act on film.

Excellent documentary that shows America opening up, then closing down to sexuality. Well made in terms of direction, editing and selection of interviewees. Whereas America looked like we would finally open up, now we are nothing but repressed, closed off, and needing war to act out our animal impulses. This is progress?
