The Great Race (1965)

Professional daredevil and white-suited hero, The Great Leslie, convinces turn-of-the-century auto makers that a race from New York to Paris (westward across America, the Bering Straight and Russia) will help to promote automobile sales. This is such a great movie!! Tony Curtis was meant for this part. There are so many hilarious scenes in this movie; the giant barfight is probably my fav though.

As far as a good honest comedy goes, it doesn't get much better then this. This is a movie I can watched (and have) watched endlessly.

I grew up with this movie. Why? Who knows, but it ALWAYS makes me laugh out loud. I'm still waiting for the sequel.. Professor Fate Strikes Back?
