A small town in Texas finds itself under attack from a hungry, fifty-foot-long gila monster. bueno, es una pelicula de 1959 de terror-Â¿sci fi? sobre un mounstruo que habita es las zonas aridas y talvez en esa epoca inexploradas de Texas, el mountruo se supone que es un reptil prhistorico como de unos 25 metros de largo (claro que en realidad es una lagartija) que ataca en la carretera autos, cabezales e incluso descarrila trenes. es una pelicula para adolecentes protagonizada por adolecentes de 30 aÃ±os jajaja pero debo de admitir que el uso de maquetas y miniaturas es muy bueno para una produccionasi de pequeÃ±a. la trama deja que desear y lo extraÃ±o (para nuestra epoca) es que los adolecentes lejos de ser criticados son tomados en cuenta como gente de bien, dura 1:15 minutos y se puede encontrar en youtube completa sin cortes. vale la pena como para perder una hora y matar el tiempo, sobre todo si como a mi, les gustan las peliculas de terror y ciencia ficcion aunque esta sea a luz de nuestra era, matada de la risa.

This movie goes a bit slowly, much like the dim-witted characters contained therein. However, due to the laughs I got from the quote, "I ask for the time and you tell me how to make a watch! Just give me the facts!" and the scene where a guy's driving along and the gila monster flicks his tongue and the guy screams and wrecks the truck, I'm giving it three stars. Towards the end, they actually attempted to make the gila monster look bigger than the people -- at the beginning it just looked like somebody's pet lizard lumbering through the brush.

a hotrod racer with a crippled sister, a monster that changes size every shot... this film is fucking awesome!

it's pretty lame...and stupid....and ridiculous....but that's exactly what makes it entertaining. it also makes for a fun drinking game (with chocolate milk, of course) when you drink every time you see someone's leg up during the film. if you like cheesy films, this one is a must-watch.
