Really great movie, one of DCEU bests, it has heart, it is funny and doesn't need a super villain. And it is different from most super-heroes movies.

Despite a far-too-long running time and a second half that often relies on audience-pleasing gimmickry in favor of a compelling story arc, The Flash is an exceedingly well-acted adventure with just enough gas in the accelerator to make it to the finish line before wearing out its welcome.

Probably the two main things working against are the poor attempts at humor and the cgi. The story itself is a bit too long and at times not well executed but overall quite good. Outside of a couple of jokes though the theater was pretty quiet. Generally when it comes to cgi I never complain but not only was it at times quite bad... it was everywhere... I can't think of another film quite so dependent on cgi. There are some good moments in this film and some excellent performances. I really enjoyed Michael Keaton as Batman, he nailed it. Also, Sasha Calle played supergirl perfectly in my opinion. All in all not a bad film but not something I'd rewatch. I was pretty hyped for this one but it's a bad start to the new DCU, particularly unfortunate since Marvel has been losing steam lately in my opinion.

This movie is amazing, definitely a must see. The actings are incredible, so is the script.
