It was actually very well played although with mostly unfamiliar actresses it still had an enjoyable plot and met and in my opinion surpassed it's standard meeting both in the comedy genre and horror genre.

Un curioso y original homenaje a las peliculas de terror, en especifico del cine slasher (guiño a esos clásicos, Viernes 13, Halloween, etc) de modo comico, sin pretenciones y sin caer en la comedia barata. Buenas interpretaciones, haciendo incapie en el hecho de mostrase algo sobreactuadas en los momentos exactos de la historia, a modo de reflejar lo que realmente se ve en algunos clásicos del género. Sin mostrar realmente escenas del tipo slasher, logra su objetivo: entretener y homenajear de manera respetuosa a un cine que vio sus mejores dias en los 80s y 90s. Hilarante e inteligente -aunque conciertas cositas que podrían haberla convertido en una obra maestra-, que posiblemente no se vuelva una pelicula de culto, pero sin duda logrará sacarle una sonrisa al fanatico del género como a cualquier otra persona que la vea.

A well made spoof on horror movies and their "rules". Throwing the past and present together into a comedy that makes fun of 80's horror movies tropes into a present day Groundhog Day meets Friday the 13th.

Caught this film on hulu and this film is a gem. It knows how absurd it is but its got alot of heart, solid character development and an interesting take on 80s slasher movies. Friday the 13th, especially.
