A great war movie. It's almost a documentary about the life inside an aircraft carrier.

One of the first few movies to feature mordern US carriers. Love the plot, love the aircraft and love the flying. I've always wondered how it's going to be like with the Nimitz against the Jap Armanda in 1942. Wouldnt want to change history though.

Great movie with a great cast. If you like military air craft this is military air craft porn wrapped around a good story. This was one of my favorite movies as a child and still is. If you like sci-fi and a good story then sit back and enjoy.

Shifting Pearl Harbor back in time makes interesting viewing for those who, like me, love fantasy, as this is all about whether anyone can stop things happening that have actually happened already.

Aside from the cheesy special effects of the "time warp", this movie puts forth a very interesting and paradoxical situation. The flying footage in the film is top notch, with the F-14's buzzing the Zero's, and an added bonus of an actual emergency trap on the Carrier's deck. Something you'll never get to see except on here. Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen give a great performance. If your an aviation buff, your sure to like this movie.
