An awesome idea which was ultimately disappointing in that not a lot actually happens in this movie.Still its well acted and intriguing so it only loses one star.

This is one of the all time best time travel movies. The script is very well conceived and the movie is interesting all over. Highly recommended, although it is pretty old.

A movie not well-known, but a great navy flick! Look for a young Martin Sheen in the movie. Very awesome drama about 1980's USS NIMITZ that gets lost in time to December 6, 1941. Sorta sci-fi, but more military. Oorah!

This is a very intriguing movie. It's about what would happen if a 1980s era aircraft carrier were thrown back in time to the day before the Pearl Harbor attack in 1941. Kirk Douglas plays the captain who has to make the choice whether or not to intervene, and Martin Sheen plays a civilian observer on board who urges for the preservation of the past. It is well acted and examines whether or not we should try to change events that made us who we are. It was very good, my only problem is that the climax isn't very fulfilling, but the epilogue won me back over.
