Was on cell for it but was following along for whole thing. Wasn't scary and felt like a low budget movie. The plot was ok at best and the direction wasn't great so it felt like an amateur movie.

Not anywhere near flawless with bad performances and awful dialogue but Evil Within dedicates itself to its vision so much its hard not to enjoy it. Grade: D+

That was awesome. Takes a bold and fresh take on a well worn story. It's more impressive with it having such a problematic production. Looking at the scores and reviews blows my mind, the shit people talk... I guarantee, with time this will gain quite a following and reputation.

If you're as big a fan of black comedy as I am you will love this movie. It's corny at times but the trippy direction and hilarious writing make this movie a hell of a fun ride. This carnival ride was totally worth it.

This movie is such an amazing build up. It is rare you see such a beautifully done story like this one...but the ending... The ending is both bad and out of place. Almost feels like they ran out of budget and threw it on because they ran out of time. I would love to see this with an alternate ending.
