This is one of those movies that somebody tells you exists, and you don't believe it exists, and then you see it, and you don't believe it exists. Starring Michael Caine as "The Nazi with a Heart of Gold."

An ok WW2 movie but one that goes on for far too long. Nothing really happens until the second half of the film and it gets a trifle dull until that point. It's worth a watch just on the number of quality actors staring in this.

very good film but the book is better worth a read fills some blanks in that are in the film. also not so fictional

An interesting idea with fair execution and a great cast. Sadly I can't help but notice post-war Carbines with 30 round mags and not be taken out of the movie at this point, but most of the combat stuff seemed pretty amateurish anyways. Okay movie.
