If it were any shorter, it would lack depth. If it were any longer, it would most likely seem a strain. As is, there's an emotional honesty here that registers quickly and often.

This movie is funny at times, but is probably about 45-minutes too long. It should have been a short film, or it could have been a sit-com episode. There are some laughs and the story is fun and interesting, but why try and make this into a 75-minute film.

Although it assumes a light, inoffensive tone, Do Deca is unquestionably the brothers' most personal film by virtue of its antiheroes, a pair of warring siblings seemingly inspired by the directors themselves.

A great and very funny film from The Duplass Brothers. This story could have been overproduced, familiarized and over-gagged, had they let it. But Jay and Mark show a rare sensibility and self-imposed responsibility toward keeping things real. Awkwardly real, when that's where real goes. And such is the joy of this film. A great story about two brothers rediscovering the love ("it's there, there's no love lost..." they just have to find it). I'm gladdened that these kinds of films still find a way to get made.
