The weak central father/son relationship lacks much-needed bite and authenticity, whilst a badly-placed revenge-cum-horror story fails to register.

It seems another branch in movies is using the 'this is real footage'... Before long we'll see it in romance movies. But I digress. These movies are hit and miss. You'll love it or you'll hate it. I actually liked the concept. It wasn't just the dinosaurs that they were fighting but each other. In the end only one survives and you don't know if he still is or not. Guess we might see a sequel.

My second found footage dinosaur film to watch in the past month, The Dinosaur Project is a much more successful film than Area 407. While I never really found it scary, I did at least find it more convincing and engaging. Still waiting for any awesomely terrifying FF dinosaur film...

not really that good of a storyline, however the visual effects seemed to keep the kids interested

Ah it was alright alittle boring at times but then just like any other dinosaur movie they looked alittle CGI they try to make them as real as they can but it was an alright movie
