Longtime friends Ronny and Nick are partners in an auto-design firm. They are hard at work on a presentation for a dream project that would really launch their company. Then Ronny spots Nick's wife out with another man, and in the process of investigating the possible affair, he learns that Nick has a few secrets of his own. As the presentation nears, Ronny agonizes over what might happen if the truth gets out.

I've seen this movie in February at cinema, before it starts I was thought it was going to be awesome, it started and in the first 20 minutes I wasn't liking it that much but when the development of the story began I started to love it, everyone hated this movie, it's not very funny and I know why people might think the movie is bad, but for me is one of Vince Vaughn's best movies, it's entartaining, funny and it has a great story, recommended 100%.

Ron Howard is the problem with this movie. I like the cast and the script seems to be an interesting examination of the "bro" movie genre (i.e. what is the real limit of honesty and truth in a serious friendship and how far would you go for that person?). Howard has difficulty getting the tone right and the film doesn't really get interesting until the final act, and even then there is too much epilogue to the story.

Shockingly dark, the focus of "The Dilemma" is less about cheap laughs and more about the absurd humor of existential loneliness.
