Angry young working class Nick West (Andrew Howard) narrates this hideous story for us in an engaging and self-referential manner that, surprisingly enough, adds to the entertainment value

I didn't know if I was going to enjoy this movie, even as I was halfway though it! But I did end up quite liking it. It was constantly changing dimensions from real life to nightmare to hellish to hallucinatory...and it ends up throwing you for a real loop. I like Adam Mason because he is a director that makes you think. Although his Blood River was by FAR better, this is still a great movie. It's a fun ride! Especially for gore fans...buckets of blood in this one.

Very British. Not cheap looking at all. Actually quite scary, once they enter 'the other world'. Strong leading character, I loved his little commentary, basically calling the viewer a prick ;) Plus the twist at the end. Definately worth watching!

that ending though! my thoughts and opinions of this film were totally changed -- and i mean just COMPLETELY changed within a fraction of a second. what a hidden gem; i'm so surprised the audience reviews didn't rate this higher. i guess i've seen enough horror flicks that i really appreciate these kind of films versus the same-old-same-old that somehow gets so popular. if you're into psychological horror, i'd recommend this one. it's got a pretty cool monster, too, if that's what you like.

i give it a 4 because the idea was pretty unique compared to half the other movies people call "horror films" i like how the movie made fun of itself and all of these other piece of shit movies that come out the main message i got from this movie is dont bother spending your money on horror films the genre is dead
